Elizabeth - The Golden Age

Looking forward to seeing Shekhar Kapur’s second film about Elizabeth – The Golden Age . I was the managing agent on one of the first film’s sites and it was a thoroughly enjoyable process.

Everybody warned me that filming was a traumatic affair, but thanks to Sue Quinn making the whole process ‘no problem’, the boss was happy, Working Title could get on with the job-in-hand and my life was easy!

In fact, some of the shots were magical – particularly the “all nighter” filming the Thames scene on the lower lake. (I hope I don’t get shot for posting some of these images – nobody is identifiable!)
